Drinking... Eating... Dancing... it's art
Last winter and last spring I visited many art exhibitions, but didn't had the time to write about them. So I'm talking about two of them now.
The Sea: the great source: exhibition at the Agbar tower, free entrance, water was the main theme... actually how to desalinate sea water... "water, water, every where, nor any drop to drink" from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge sumarize our problem: the lack of water.
I also visited the exhibition about Santes Creus, the cistercian monastery, at the Museum of the History of Catalonia. A Royal decree published on 1921 declared Santes Creus a national monument. The exhibition included photographs from the collection of the Sandoval family.
But all this pictures are statics ones, about the every-day life at the time, but still statics. Completely different from A Floating World. Photographs by Jacques Henri Lartigue (1894-1986), the exhibition at CaixaForum open until the 3 October 2010.

La revista de la foto es la vida marítima de 1910 de la Biblioteca del MMB. Si alguien quiere saber más dónde está Vida marítima?
True! it must be back in the library, already? Tomorrow I'll go there and check it!
