I feel the main character pain: every time I hear music I like (and I happen to know the lyrics), I start singing and dancing myself: in the theater, walking in the street. True, not in the work environment, but still.
Director Yaguchi Shinobu san outdid himself with this film. I've watched before Waterboys, an hilarious film (of course I also started dancing in the swimming pool and sea). Even though the action in Dance with me does not take place entirely in school, School is key in the memories and life of 2 of the characters in the film. I love that this time a woman is the main character, Yaguchi portraits her work problems and life-style choice with delicacy and fun, we are able to feel empathy with her, we want to help her.

I've enjoyed this film a lot, the moment we start hearing the music, I found myself singing and dancing at home, watching the film. Music brings joy to our life, feel the rythm and Dance with me!
